My client a Leading Pharmacutical company based in Braine Brussels requires a SAP Business Analyst (Supply Chain)

Mission

This position partners from an IT point of view with the Supply Chain department to orchestrate the end-to-end supply chain and ensure agile, cost effective, timely supplies of the companies products to patients.

The scope includes being the IT partner for the following processes:

  • Inventory and warehousing processes.
  • External manufacturing with our contract manufacturers (CMO).
  • Primary distribution of products from internal and external manufacturing sites to the companies affiliates.
  • Serialization processes.

One of the main goals is to achieve operational efficiency through global, standardized IT solutions.
Related to the scope, the most important solution is SAP - Materials and Warehouse Management, as well as SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure and Object Event Repository.

Creating strong business relationship and stakeholder management are key to achieve another goal, which is customer (and ultimately patient) satisfaction.

Monitor trends and changes in the IT solutions outside of UCB, best practices, IT solutions used by peers, in short curiosity towards technology, innovation and creativity are fundamental to create business value.

Responsibilities

  • Align and communicate with the relevant stakeholders, by discussing business requirements on a global and local level with process owners and key users, mainly from the Warehousing, CMO and Serialization teams.
  • Build, implement and support standardized and globalized digital solutions for supply execution through SAP Material and Warehouse Management modules as well as other systems.
  • Deliver projects in close collaboration with all parties involved (business and other IT departments, internal and external partners) by using the UCB IT project methodology.
  • Follow market trends in digital transformation and industry best practices with the aim of sharing the acquired knowledge inside the company and of applying it to propose innovative solutions.
  • Ensure the compliance of the solutions to global process and legal requirements by following validation guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Actively take part in the implementation of the IT strategy.

Expected skills and experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in SAP configuration, preferably in Material and Warehouse Management.
  • Experience with SAP solutions in the Serialization domain are considered a plus.
  • Strong affinity with electronic data exchange (EDI, Idocs, XML, flat files).
  • Experience of working in an international and global context.
  • Strong relationship management with business partners as well as external IT service partners and software vendors.
  • Pharma experience is considered a plus.
  • Project management experience is considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English, French will be an asset.
