Our Government based client is currently looking to recruit a Solutions Architect to join there busy Team on a 6 month initial contract.
You will be responsible for producing architecture and designs for a number of exciting projects that will be for customers with in the defence sector. Working closely with Project Managers, Service Managers, Product Managers and Technologists as well as managed a range of 3rd party suppliers in order to deliver exciting solutions.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Full software development life cycle in an enterprise environment (eg - Architecture, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, Support).
- Designing and developing solutions with an emphasis on using cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Effective leadership to software development teams including support for mentoring, upskilling and the well-being of the team.
- Presenting your solutions and proposals to customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Working in an Agile environment.
Experience of working in the defence sector would be advantageous as well as a AWS Certification however this is not essential.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will be considered. Please note to start on this site you will need to obtain BPSS Clearance which can take 2-4 weeks.
Please also note this role is INSIDE IR35 however you operate via a umbrella company or limited company.
