Background
Major player in financial services sector is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help them build systems
The DevOps Engineer responsibilities include improvements of current technical socle of tooling for our product but also deploying product updates.
If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with TFS/AzureDevops' pipeline, ansible, Java and test automation then you are the ideal candidate.
Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management solutions for application deployments in order to improve current CI pipeline and meet CI/CD vision
Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement development delivery
Lead migration of current application from TFVC to Git by from design until implementation
Review and improve testing automation by implementing such approach like TDD & BDD but also automated performance, security tests
Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
Develop software to integrate with internal Back End systems and external gates
Perform root cause analysis for production errors
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Qualifications
Requirements
Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
Good knowledge of TFS/AzureDevops, test tooling, Git, Linux, Sonar and IBM solution such as MQ and IIB
Problem-solving attitude
Team spirit
Master in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
