Description
A Scada Engineer is urgently required with strong experience of C#, .NET or associated object-oriented programming language experience for a very large, high profile project for one of the UK's largest service providers. You will be responsible for the full SCADA development life cycle, including writing new functionality, integrating code, and the design and deployment of applications.
SCADA Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Play a key role on a large-scale SCADA development project, delivering development, design, implementation, integration and deployment using C# and .NET (or associated object-oriented programming languages - Java, C++ etc)
- Work collaboratively within a well-established team of Engineers, Developers and Testers analysts on a set of new greenfield projects
- Observe object-oriented design and development principles
SCADA Engineer Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in a SCADA Engineer/SCADA developer role
- Significant experience of C# .net development or any object-oriented programming experience (C++, Java, Python, Ruby etc)
- Strong knowledge of Visual Studio would be beneficial, along with a high-level knowledge of Codra Panorama, however this would not be a deal breaker and full training will be provided
- Detailed knowledge of object-oriented design/development principles
