Hancock & Parsons is looking to recruit a Financial Controller for a lovely client of ours, based in Ongar. Our client has multiple locations across London and Essex, and as Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial procedures run smoothly. This role will provide the right candidate with the autonomy to help make executive decisions and to 'create' their own role. Our client is offering a competitive hourly rate and ideally is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining of XERO ledgers and bank on an ongoing basis across all companies in the group
- Oversight and review of the sales ledger function across the business including assisting credit in producing accurate statements of account and reconciling all parent ledgers
- Ensuring that inter-company ledgers are maintained and agreed
- Maintaining fixed asset registers from a cost and depreciation point of view
- Budget analysis and forecasting
- Monthly payroll and pension administration including dealing with ad hoc queries
- On a monthly basis, produce Management Accounts by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends, with your comments on variance, as part of liaising with the external accountants.
Requirements:
Must have:
- Strong Xero experience
- Strong excel experience
- Strong cloud based data storage systems experience
- Ability to run payroll and pension across multiple sites and schemes.
