Senior Consultant – Reinsurance (Core Platform)Freelance / Contract
Location: Remote with some travel (USA or Europe - Remote with some travel)
Rate: Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Provide insurance core platform implementation or upgrade expertise and knowledge to the reinsurance clients
- Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to assess pain points, define visions of future states, and prioritize opportunity areas that deliver value across people, process, data, and technology
- Independently drive the success of a project by directing activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely submissions
- Manage a team of consultants by organizing workstreams, defining work packages, and mentoring junior team members
What we’re looking for:
- In-depth knowledge in insurance core platforms such as Xuber Enterprise product suites required
- Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience
- Analysis, solution design, implementation, and upgrade experience in insurance core platform project
- 3 + years of experience in the USA or (ideally) London market and/or reinsurance industry as a business analyst or solution designer/architect
- Knowledge in, or related to, insurance business functions such as underwriting, policy admin, claims, reinsurance, and finance operations
- Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, operational excellence, or management function within an insurance company -preferred
- MBA/Masters with a relevant concentration preferred; undergraduate degree with a relevant concentration required
- Ability and willingness to travel
