SAM & IT Asset AnalystRate Inside IR 35 - £120 - per day on a 12 month rolling contract 3 day per week/35-hour week 9am - 5pm.
The Role:
The SAM IT Asset Manager is accountable for managing all IT & Software Assets on behalf of our client. They will commercially manage the software license position to ensure effective use of budget and compliance with UK license laws.
To provide efficient and effective support services to the IT Service Delivery section.
Act as the procurement "champion" of goods and services, finding best procurement routes, complying with corporate standing order regulations and negotiating with suppliers to ensure value for money.
Day to day responsibility for ensuring compliance on agreements for IT asset and licence management.
Day to day responsibility for ensuring that asset and change management processes are being followed to the defined standard
Essential Experience:
- Must have experiencing working with multiple suppliers.
- Managing performance against SLA's
- Experience of managing software and hardware assets
- Previous experience of establishing asset management processes
- Relevant experience within an IT Operations function
- SAM qualified
- Problem management able to bring multiple parties and issues together to identify resolutions to problems.
Qualified to ITIL Foundation
