Job Title: Cyber Security Incident Responder

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Warsaw, Poland

Contract Rate: Euro 280 per day

Contract Length: 12 Months with Multiple extensions

Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Cyber Security Incident Responder to join their client in Warsaw, Poland.

Cybersec Incident Responder

Responding to computer security incidents according to the cyber security incident response plan with proper Triage and classification of incidents; (

Providing guidance to first responders for handling information security incidents and coordinating security incident response efforts among multiple organizations; (21 months)

Investigating security incidents through log analysis, interviewing, digital evidence collection and preservation, digital forensics and malware analysis with aim to provide actionable Indicators of Compromise (IOC); (21 months)

Providing timely and relevant updates to appropriate stakeholders and decision makers; (21 months)

Specific Skills:

Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, Syslog-ng, etc.) min 2 years

Sound knowledge and experience of IT security issues and a solid background in the following areas:

Operating Systems security, experience working with multiple operating systems;

Anti-virus technologies;

Network security:

Practical level understanding of common TCP/IP-based services and protocols including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH,SMTP

Firewall theory, proxies/reverse proxies, IDS/IPS

Full packet capture analysis, etc.

Application level security: web applications, databases, secure development;

Vulnerability assessment and handling;
