Senior Python Architect - Elasticsearch/API Development sought by leading financial services organisation based in the city of London.
What we need:
A driven and enthusiastic developer who is excited about any new challenges/technologies thrown at them.
Programming experience of 5+ years and experience in at least 1 Python framework are essential. Bonus points if it's flask.
We move at a rapid pace and learn something new every day. We take a very high ownership of tasks that come our way and collaborate extensively. We value transparency and make sure everyone knows what everyone is working and what we need help with.
About the Role & Requirements
Our platform uses cutting edge web technologies to distribute research data.
Our tech stack is. Python - Flask. Postgresql. ELK stack. RabbitMQ. AWS.Docker
We strive for high code quality and apply best practices when it comes to software architecture.
We write unit and integration tests and have laid the groundwork to do TDD efficiently.
We use REST API for our API integration with our partners.
We use Gitlab to manage our sprints and Gitlab CI for our builds.
Must be excited to take Legacy code and refactor it in line with architectural best practices.
Some remote working will be considered for the right candidate.
