Description

Role Title: Chordiant Marketing Consultant (Or PEGA Decisioning Analyst) (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 months initially

Location; Edinburgh (A Little Remote work acceptable)

Role Overview/Description:

In Data & Analytics, we have the responsibility of helping our customers to make better use of data for business decisions & operations to drive customer interactions. The team is unique in the financial services industry in that it has end-to-end responsibility for data and includes multi-channel customer contact, analytics, data-related technology and change delivery.

Sopra Steria are seeking experienced Analysts with either Banking or Financial Services exposure whom understands regulated environments/processes. Ideally some exposure to Customer Decisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality, clear and accurate current state management information within agreed timescales.
  • Input into quality business solutions, including analysis solutions.
  • Typically work independently on small single or multiple projects or small components (workstreams) of larger projects that are multi-discipline
  • Utilise your expert knowledge and experience using SQL/SAS/Teradata and at times Hadoop to interrogate data for investigations during project work.
  • Liaise with various levels of Stakeholders for detailed business requirements & project status updates
  • Understand business processing within heavily regulated environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Business area in question is looking for people with either:
  • Chordiant Direct Marketing
  • Familiar with Chordiant Direct marketing product and able to run straight forward campaigns
  • Worked in a Customer Contact/Direct marketing environment
  • Solid core coding skills - eg SQL or SAS

Pega

  • Experience of using Pega 7 marketing tools
  • Able to design and build campaigns in Pega
  • Experience of solution design within Pega and generally within a marketing environments

Business skills

  • Experience in a business change environment
  • Good understanding of business analysis methodology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a strong desire to make positive change in the organisation
  • Deep understanding of data quality and data governance
  • Excellent MS Office skills, ability to use Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and MS Project to a high standard
