Hanson Regan are seeking a strong Data Scientist for a 6-12 month freelance project in Sweden.Description: As a Data Scientist you will be able to successfully develop and maintain different machine learning models from data preparation and cleansing to deployment and maintenance on our analytical platforms both CDSW and SAS. You will also be highly involved in translating business requirements on KPI's and other measures for follow-up into IT-requirements as well as explaining different consequences for the business emerging by changes in IT. To that you will develop and showcase prototypes for how to visualize data in Qlik in order for business to be able to get a clear understanding of where they are heading and to base all decisions on facts. Additionally you will be involved in testing and verifying necessary IT-development.
Requirements: The role requires demanding skills within the field of Big Data and Analytics platforms and long experience from working with development and deployment of advanced machine learning models on an on-prem Hadoop cluster as well as different cloud solutions. You have high to advanced technical skills in Python, Spark, SQL and Qlik and you have a thorough knowledge of the SAS Suite. It is further required that you have at least 2-3 years of consultancy experience of Data Science work and you hold a master in statistical/computer/mathematical science.
The candidate will need to be Fluent in English and able to work effectively in Swedish
