An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a global Media Business in London. Starting mid-February to March, this role is ideal for a 'hands on' chartered accountant with previous experience at analyst level in the FP&A space.
Working alongside the finance manager, you will be responsible for supporting the business planning, reporting, controls and analysis activities of the FP&A team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes and tools in finance and elsewhere within the business.
- Look for opportunities for cost savings and working capital improvements.
- Define and evaluate internal control compliance, including SOX compliance and certification.
- Manage stock accounting in liaison with the International Supply Chain Team and UK operations.
- Manage consignment stock analyst.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Accountant Certification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).
- Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
- Internal Controls experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with finance and non-finance people.
- Looks for constant development in the effectiveness of the team.
- Self-motivated, flexible with a high level of initiative.
