Data Analyst
Sheffield
My client based in Sheffield is searching for an experienced Data Analyst for an initial 6 month contract.
Key responsibilities
. Develop and implement workflows for the acquisition, cleansing, and transformation of data
. Development of visualisations, dashboards, reports and presentations
. Identification of savings opportunities through the production of analysis, comparisons and benchmarks
. Undertake complex analysis of information to ensure consistent and accurate reporting of operational activity to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
. Support the submission returns and datasets for internal and external stakeholders.
. Support Category Towers through provision of benchmarking analysis, modelling and reporting to support workstreams and meet business goals and targets.
. Provide regular data and information updates.
. Routinely undertake data-quality checks to a high-level of data accuracy.
Skills & experience
. You will have a previous experience in similar role where you have designed Data workflows and Data Visualisations, Dashboards, Reports & Presentations
. Experience of using Aleryx, MS Power BI & Cognos is desirable as well as some exposure to MS Azure Cloud and MS SQL Server
. You will be able to demonstrate and advanced excel skill set and data analysis skills
. You will have great stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
. You will have excellent attention to detail and to ensure information is accurate, congruent, reliable, and is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems
