Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Basingstoke/Reading
Start: 27th January 2020
IR35: OUTSIDE
The Company is seeking a Junior-Mid level Data Cabling Engineer to join their growing operations in the Basingstoke/Reading area. Working as part of a 2 man team on the E2E delivery of Structured Cabling solutions, covering Installation, Termination, Testing & Patching on client site.
The Engineer will be part of a two-man team, taking direction and guidance from the Lead Engineer.
Role Overview & Responsibilities:
*Experienced/qualified data engineer in both copper and fibre (preferably CNIT or industry equivalent)
Installing to industry standards
Terminating to industry standards
Testing to industry standards
*Experienced in all forms of containment installation to industry standards.
*Preferably a team leader/supervisor capable of peer coaching an apprentice level engineer
*MS Office Suite - Excel, Word etc.
*Full UK driving licence (clean) with business insurance
Qualifications (Mandatory*):
CNIT* (or equivalent experience)
ECS/CSCS*
SSSTS or SMSTS
Manual Handling*
Asbestos Awareness*
Working Safely
Working at Height
IPAF/PASMA
