Description
Software architecture and development consultancy seeks suitably experienced Front End Developer to develop and support Health Education England's Trainee Information System (TIS) using open source and cloud technologies such as Angular 7/8, React, Elastic Search, AWS Cloud Hosting and GitHub source control.
The specialist will work onsite 4 days/week at the client's central London office, with Scrum Master, Service Managers (Product Owners) and client's development team, and 1 day/week remotely.
We expect this engagement to be outside IR35.
Role will involve:
- Developing functionality using Angular and React for the TIS application and a mobile app
- Fixing bugs
- Agile working using Scrum
- Sharing knowledge, pair programming and developing the understanding of the application within the current TIS team
- Using a TDD approach
Essential skills and experience
- AngularJS, Angular 7/8
- React
- Testing frameworks - Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor
- Experience of an Agile/Scrum environment
- Teaching, knowledge transfer and pair-programming
Highly desirable skills and experience
- MySQL
- Docker, Cloud hosting
