MS SQL Server DBA
6 month contract - Excellent Daily Rates - City centre location (Dublin)
Responsibilities;
- Replication and ETL processes, monitoring databases
- Use GIT source control
- Monitoring and trouble-shooting disk space, memory, I/O and CPU resource issues
- Developing, testing and tuning T-SQL stored procedures for ETL processes
- SQL server installation, configuration and upgrades
- Assisting development teams preparing SQL scripts to validate data quality and ETL processes
Requirements;
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Server administration including;
- Knowledge of database architecture
- Working with developers and an ORM framework
- Transactional replication
- CDC and CT technologies
- Indexes and Statistics
- SQL Server Profiler and Windows Performance Monitor
- Stored procedure development and tuning
- SQL Server on Cloud IAAS
Desirable;
- PowerShell, ANT or NANT Scripting
- Experience using source control, especially GIT
- Automated deployments and continuous integration
- SSIS and SSRS technologies
