Description

2nd Line Device Support Until March 31st 2020 initially Warwick - 15.85phr

To provide a 2nd Line Device support service (including Desktops, Laptops and Tablets) via the ICT Support Team for all ICT queries from customers.

Dealing with day to day break-fix issuesDeliver/install/upgrade desktops and laptops to schools across the county (access to own car essential)

Install/Configure printers as required

Carry out routine monitoring, logging and reporting tasks, taking defined action where appropriateProvide advice and resolving IT issues where possible and escalating unresolved calls where necessary

Liaise with 3rd party companies on behalf of our customers

Assist users to make more effective use of systems, products and services, making detailed diagnosis of problems and advising known solutions where applicable

Essential Criteria

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent subject with excellent IT skills/knowledge

Ability to independently interpret and analyse varied and complex information or situations

Proven advisory skills

Abillity to contribute to ICT policies and proceduresAbility to co-ordinate a number of elements within a project plan

Previous 2nd Line Support Experience

Knowledge of ICT in the education sector

Professoinal Qualifications/Certifications (MCP, MCSE, MCDST, CompTIA A+)

Knowledge of Windowns 7/10

The role is to be based in Warwickshire, with an hourly rate of 15.85
