Description
A global consultancy are currently looking for an Elastic Stack Developer to work on site with an end client based in London. This is a 3 month contract with the potential for extension, is inside IR35 and is paying up to £415 per day.You must be either SC cleared or eligible for this position. The preference is for candidates with already Active SC.
You must be familiar with the Elastic stack (elk, logstash, Kibana) - including its limitations
Responsibilities
- Completing development in accordance with the agreed requirements and development standards
- Testing products using the test strategy to ensure that they are fit for purpose
- Examining packages of work with the Team Leader and giving timescales for completion
- Completing work within agreed criteria and providing progress reports
- Managing and controlling problems, including negotiation with other teams
- Escalating problems, issues and risks appropriately
- Involved in process improvement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures
- Informatica, UNIX, UNIX Shell Scripting
- SQL, Oracle, NT
- Advantage:Gen, PL/SQL
- JAVA/J2EE, PEGA
- Rational Toolset (inc Clear/Case)
- PERL
- BEA Weblogica
- WebMethods
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Knowledge of SLC/RAE methodology
- Knowledge of RUP methodology & supporting Rational toolset
- OO Analysis & Design techniques.
