Solution Architect - API - Financial Services - Cardiff - £500/day
Contract opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect with API integration experience to join a programme for a Financial Services Client in Cardiff
Key Skills Required:
- Design high quality, scalable, secure and resilient solutions for the client and the requirements of its existing or potential customers.
- Utilise effective design capability that can be articulated to clients and internal teams for the development of proposed solutions.
- Sit on the internal Design Authority Board (DAB) and review proposed designs to ensure compliance with the agreed terms of reference for the client's technical strategy.
- Play a key role in the client's digital transformation by utilising their skills and knowledge of the IT industry to shape solutions.
- Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the needs of the business.
- Provide client facing professional experience and capability, understanding the client's Core Propositions.
- Provide assurance to the customer that the client's capabilities match their expectations.
- Support the servicing/operation divisions to ensure that technology solutions can be adequately supported.
- Occasional travel to client sites providing consultancy and presenting existing or new solutions.
- Understand the impact changes has on customers and their portfolios
Experience Required:
- Digital transformation of Legacy systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- Continuous integration
- Automation
- Micro services and container-based systems
- Implementing API best practices
- Experience in integrating open source solutions
- Security by Design
