IT Support Technician

THIS ROLE SITS INSIDE IR35

Our Public Sector client is looking for a highly skilled IT Support Technician to join their Larkhall based team for a 9 months initial contract.

Skills required:

An IT Support Technician is required to help fulfil the obligations of the clients Application Team. A variety of tasks are envisaged, but should be capable of working at a level equivalent to a Second Line IT Support Technician.

  • Substantial experience in maintenance and support of major IT information systems and solutions across the agency incorporating: operating systems (eg Unix, Linux and NT); database and warehousing software (eg Oracle, SQL Server)
  • communications infrastructure (eg LANs, WANs and associated security hardware)
  • desktop application support (eg Microsoft Office suite)
