Uiteenlopende misse. Security patching, opvolgen backups, troubleshooting, installeren, upgrades, ..

Bijkomend ook de missie om bepaalde taken te documenteren en delegeren naar level 1 support teams.

Werken in Brussel. Normale werkuren met af en toe werken buiten de normale kantooruren.
Technical requirements:

Knowledge of SQL Server databases from 2008 to 2017
-
Install, update, document and maintain SQL Server components from 2012 to 2017 (DB Engine, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)

Monitor databases backup (backup and recovery, develop and maintain business continuity, manage index fragmentation and keep statistics up-to-date)

Monitor, troubleshoot and support SQL agent Jobs

Coordinate and manage a Large pool of SQL Server database system, knowledge of Powershell is a plus

Collaborate with project & infra teams to manage system interdependencies and perform misc database support (backup, restore, security, security login & user, migration, scripts, query Scripting, query tuning, DB sync, TDE and encrypted backup, maintenance database for BI report & monitoring, system interdependencies);

Monitor and report SQL databases changes and trends; maintain business continuity

Manage, maintain and report security login

Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams

Assist application owner and custom development with query tuning and schema refinement, database deployment. Provide suggestions for solutions

Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
