Communications & Training Manager - Edinburgh - Contract - 6 months
Please note, we are interviewing in Edinburgh on either the 11th or 12th February 2020
An experienced Communications and Training Manager is required to develop and implement a communications and training programme for a large Windows 10, Office365 and VDI migration project.
The role will also oversee all the development of materials for training and floorwalking requirements providing quality assurance together with managing all resources placed on site for the development and delivery of the communications and training requirements.
Key skills required:
- Commercial experience across a range of communication disciplines in high profile corporate environments
- Experience of planning, developing and delivering effective communication strategies
- Managing key communications within an IT change programme
- First class communication skills and be required to take ownership of reporting
- Planning, writing and production of communications materials
- Excellent writing skills in a variety of styles, ie for announcements articles, newsletters, Intranet sites
- Proven ability at managing relationships and influencing senior people
- Ideally have experience of working on large scale deployment projects and be familiar with project life cycle and methodologies
- Attend scoping sessions for Digital Comms/T-/Learning materials and Awareness Seminar/Evaluation requirements
- Agree and provide input into a development schedule for Awareness Seminar/Communications/Education and Evaluation products
- Oversee the development of the Awareness Seminar/Evaluation form/Day 1 Guide and secure sign off
- Manage development of any overseas communications required
- Manage the Awareness Seminar and How Do I? Floor Support resources
- Point of escalation and contact for change requirements eg resource increase/decrease
