Description

Senior .NET Developer - Azure - Glasgow

.NET Developer urgently required by our client based in Glasgow, on 3-month contract with a very high chance of extension.

The Role:

With over 25 years of experience in their industry, your new employer has grown to a global leader in their field.

Their Glasgow development centre is home to circa 15 Engineers (and the team is constantly growing!); working with some cutting-edge technologies and continuing to push forwards with new products and new tech. They're a Microsoft house and are currently in the process of developing 5 internal web applications that will be hosted on Microsoft Azure. As a result, they're looking for a lead .NET C# Developer with experience of Azure and Microservices - who will be expected to add a lot of value to the project, hit the ground running from day one and mentor junior developers when needed.

You'll be joining a team of engineers in Glasgow to work on a new product, which will have a significant impact across the country in a critical industry.

The Tech:

The team are working with a range of technologies, as already discussed, so to be successful in this role you will likely have an interest in some, if not most of the following:

*.NET Framework

* C#/MVC/ASP.NET

* Azure

* Microservices

* TDD

* Agile

Even as a contractor you'll also be exposed to new tech, new approaches and add several strings to your development bow for future roles.

The Company & Culture:

Having met most of the team, they are a great bunch and I can imagine it being a very inclusive, relaxed and highly skilled environment.

The Rate:

For the right person we have a day rate of £350 - £375 depending on your experience and what you can add to the project.

On top of that, this role offers the chance of a long-term extension, the office is located near a number of public transport routes and has free parking onsite.
