Description

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit an Audit Product Lead for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:
As the Audit Product Lead you will be responsible for Project Planning, Improvement activities, governance, internal and external assurance activities and managing change.
Responsible for managing day to day project planning and delivery on behalf of Product Owners, across a range of Audit products
Develop project plans, resource plans and supporting project control documents, in line with the overarching programme management framework and governance.
Estimate and track the use of resources to ensure that your project is resourced appropriately in line with the project plan and that the resources have the capabilities and skills to deliver to the standard required to ensure success in the delivery of the project.
Support project management of audit and controls related products through their life cycle. Maintain documentation and manage information, track milestones, liaise with the relevant business leads and report on progress according to the required programme reporting cycle.
Manage internal and external assurance and compliance activities for your assigned project or technical/financial processes and payments products
Provide plans and analysis to support the production of options appraisals and business cases, so that business decisions have appropriate evidence and justification .
Support the management of an allocated budget.

Requirements:
Proven and demonstrable track record in project management and delivery in an audit related environment including setting plans and priorities for yourself and others within a project structure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support management of stakeholders across the organisation and Partner organisations .
Ability to collate, organise, analyse and use information to plan and deliver services, products and technology improvements.
Experience of supporting, providing guidance to and maintaining the governance and plans for, large, complex business and technical projects using recognised project management methodologies such as Agile and Prince 2.

Desirable Skills:
Past experience of leading enterprise-wide product development is desirable.
