Description
Major Global Client based in Prague requires a Cloud Engineer to join their Infrastructure team on an initial 12 Month Contract.
Cloud Engineer-Main Duties:
- Agile practices and operations for Azure, with an automation first approach
- Drive practices and patterns with the rest of the team and the broader community ensuring monitoring, tracing, failure testing, security etc.
- Liaise with Architecture & Design, Security, Service management and Design to design/build scalable and maintainable product solutions for our customers, while ensuring upgrades, migrations and builds are strategically planned into the product roadmaps
- Provide rotational, on-call, operation support of cloud services, deliver infrastructure as code through continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline
- Directly troubleshoot and own all production issues to drive effective resolution of assigned client escalations including root cause analysis and recommendations/implementations to ensure long-term remediation of issues
- Adherence to critical processes such as Incident, Problem and Change Management, whilst working closely with the service management/service integration functions
- Continuous improvement in collaboration with the company's Managed Service Providers managing service providers
Key Skills:
- 5 years of experience designing and operating high-performance, secure, multi-tenant cloud services supporting a CI/CD model
- Knowledge or ability to learn programming of multiple Scripting and programming languages, automation frameworks, and tooling technologies
- Solid Azure experience, certification is a bonus
- Experience with a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases
