Network Voice CTI Operations Manager

Mission

In a model where infrastructure is mainly sourced "as a service", the Network Voice CTI Operations Senior Manager holds operational accountability for:

  • Operations for all services related to Network Voice and CTI.
  • Ensuring the technical integration of the different network components in performant solutions
  • Controlling the Network architecture robustness, performance, resilience
  • Controlling the security compliancy of the Network Voice CTI infrastructure and software implemented by the suppliers
  • Delivering Network Voice CTI projects
  • Contributing to business projects relying on Network Voice CTI services following the standard Project Delivery Life cycle.
  • Assessing the robustness and future proofness of new technologies proposed by suppliers.
  • For Network Voice CTI availability Management
  • For Network Voice CTI capacity Management

He/she is a key contributor to IT and Business processes continuity.

He/she supports all the other IT processes which relies Network Voice CTI services.

As member of the SMI management team, he/she is responsible for contributing to the SMI and IT strategy and governance with the only objective to maximize the IT contribution to deliver business benefits in a cost-efficient way.

List of activities

To achieve his/her mission, the Network Voice CTI Operations Senior Manager (with his/her team) is responsible for delivering the following tasks:

  • Controlling that Network provisioning and decommissioning process meets service levels requirements for LAN/WAN/MAN/LPWAN/WLAN
  • Providing operations and administration requirements and policies
  • Controlling that operations and system administration procedures are developed and documented
  • Controlling that Operational dashboards are developed and documented
  • Providing consolidated operations Dashboard
  • Auditing that operations and administration policies for compliance with EDFL policies
  • Controlling that system administration procedures are developed and documented
  • Controlling that Backup and recovery services are developed, implemented and executed as required
  • Implementing the Network monitoring tools
  • Defining maintenance schedules and controlling they are executed according requirements.
  • Controlling that On-site support and facility management procedures are defined and executed according requirements.
  • More specifically controlling that Data Centre Networking Services, Web Application load balancer services, Network Time Protocol Services, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Services, Domain Name System Services, IP Address Management Services, Connectivity services are delivered according to service levels.

Technical skills

  • Deep understanding of Network technologies and TELCOS offers
  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure components
  • Deep understanding of public cloud model and connectivity
  • Process design

Background

The ideal candidate:

  • has a master's degree (preferably IT) or gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience
  • has at least 10 years of work experience in IT Infrastructure/Network Service Management.
  • Understands IT Service Management product (ServiceNow - Remedy - )
  • has fair ITIL Lifecycle knowledge and Service Level Management skills. Knowledge of ITIL Lifecycle V3 is mandatory (Foundation + additional certificate)
  • is business proficient (B2+) in English and native/fluent either in Dutch or French.
