Java Developer - leading edge projects!
Our client is a well respected organisation and work alongside a variety of different organisations across the globe; consisting of various talented experts and states of the art technology. They are they are now looking for Java Software Developers to join their world class team and assist their agile delivery teams. The software developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical software applications and therefore will be required to a number of different Programming skills. This role may offer remote working after the first few months of the contract, subject to good initial performance.
To be considered for the role, you will require the following:
- Previous experience in enterprise JAVA or full stack web development
- Ability to clearly communicate technical subjects to a variety of audiences
- Previous experience of designing and developing solutions using cloud technologies, ie Azure, Google cloud, platform, AWS
- Demonstrable experience of the full software development life cycle in an enterprise environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous use of Groovy to script tests
- Experience with Angular2
- Java unit testing in Mockito; Cucumber for BDD
- Use of cucumber for Behaviour Driven Development
- Support AWS web services: API Gateway + Lambda
- Knowledge of Spring Boot
Desirable attributes would include:
- Extensive knowledge of Modulo operation would be very desirable
- Previous experience in an agile environment
- Appreciation of good practice - eg clean code, automated tested, source control and continuous deployment
- Solid AWS knowledge and experience including delivery pipeline services, component orchestration, etc
- Experience working with external suppliers
- Valid SC Clearance
- Public Sector Experience
