Description
*Upgrade of VMware vSphere environment
*Removal of obsolete server hardware
*Installation of new server and storage hardware
*Upgrade of Windows Server 2012 to 2016
*Document changes. Prepare simple technical user guides and SOPs.
*Installation and configuration of an event logging solution.
*Secondary duties will include support to troubleshooting other local IT Incidents & Problems
*Since the site is small with only 3 local technicians, you may also have to occasionally help out with tasks that the other technicians are involved with.
Required skills:
*Windows Server 2012 or higher Specialist
*Extensive experience with VMware vSphere 6 or higher SKILLS THAT WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS
*Microsoft SCCM 2012 installation and configuration
*Networking eg switch configuration
*DATA backup solutions: Veritas Backup Exec 20 and VEEAM 9.5
*ITIL foundation knowledge
*SharePoint 2016 installation and configuration
