Dell Boomi Technical Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently recruiting for a Dell Boomi Technical Engineer for a 3 month contract based in Derby.

Job Description:

This role is acting as a Dell Boomi Technical Engineer within the Integration Centre. You will be required to manage Projects through the full life cycle working with SOA principles, Agile methodolgy and technologies such as Dell Boomi, Java, XML, SOAP, JSON and REST as part of a team of developers ensuring project delivery on time and to budget.
The Technical Engineer should be able to move between design, supporting the delivery team through QA, guidance and problem-solving and leading a development team when required.

Responsibilities include:

- Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, design requirements, technical context and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Create Integration Service specfications, WSDLs and schemas.
- Develop and test Dell Boomi processes.
- Understand and use appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve technical problems.
- Align to design, coding and testing standards and processes.

Essential experience:

- Excellent verbal and written skills
- EAI experience
- Dell Boomi product set
- XML Technologies - XML, XSD, XPATH, XSL, XQuery
- OS -Linux, we use Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Languages - Java
- Tools - CVS, Eclipse
- SOA and Integration
- Design - OOAD, UML
- REST
- JSON
- Languages - Unix Shell Scripting
- Databases - Oracle 11g, SQL, PL/SQL
- Agile methodolgy
- Dev Ops
