*Asset and Procurement Administrator - 3-month Contract - Leading construction Company - £140-£150 per day*
A UK wide construction company is seeking an Asset and Procurement Administrator on a three month contract, to be based in their Leatherhead office; the Asset and Procurement Administrator is responsible for the procurement of IT products to the business, assisting in the administration of all IT assets and the invoicing & recharging cycle. While the majority of your day-to-day work will involve internal administration with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), strong customer-service skills are preferred as your work may involve talking to external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Control of all IT Procurement from order to invoice, ensuring that all procedures are followed
- Ordering of all hardware and software from 3rd party vendors
- Prepare and manage the invoice process
- Working in line with agreed Service Levels/KPi's
- Review and identify areas of improvement in the procurement process
- Monthly reporting
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Experience in customer management
- General understanding of Procurement and Asset management in an IT environment
- Ability to follow documented policy and processes
- At least 12 months experience in a procurement and asset environment
- Knowledge and expert use of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
- Ability to work with 3rd party service providers
- Ability to manage time effectively and to prioritise calls where appropriate
- Effective written and oral skills
