Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for Electrical Test Operators to work with our prestigious client based in Bolton. The successful candidate will have proven planning and organising skills and communicate effectively throughout the department and should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focused.
The Role:
You will be carrying out tests on electrical equipment in accordance with test instructions, using specified test equipment, setting-up procedures for testing, to include the awareness of the need for periodic recalibration of test equipment.
*Must have prior experience or familiarity with electrical equipment in accordance with test instructions OR experience with using specified test equipment
*Fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment
*Keep test records and reporting faults for rectification
*Certify the product in line with Product Certification procedures
*Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack
*Maintain workmanship standards and product quality to the highest level
*Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
*Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping policy
*Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
Qualifications:
*Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/ONC
*Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate
Desirable, Not Essential:
*Manual handling training
*Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes)
*ESD training.
