Tank recruitment have been engaged to resource an Fibre & Data Instillation Engineer for an initial 3 Month contract for key client based in Lincolnshire.
Responsibilities & Experience Needed:
- Fibre optic patching & testing
- CSCS Card
- Installation and termination of cables, construction of ODFs and other associated activities.
- Installation, testing and fault finding of cat 5e/6/6a/7, co-axial and multi/single mode fibre systems.
- Understand the use of, cable and fibre test equipment, produce and analyse test documentation, and prepare reports.
- Terminate all types of fibre with a wide range of interconnection devices and connector types; by hand or with machine polishing techniques.
Desired:
- Pulling Fibre and Terminating fibre optic
- Preparation of the cable for splicing and termination.
- Splicing fibre optic cable inside various types of enclosure.
- Blown Fibre Installation
