Description

Security Cleared Desktop 2nd Line Support Engineer is urgently required by our Global IT Services Client, for a rolling 5-month contract to be based in Southampton.

The role itself encompasses managing fault calls, service requests and planned changes, VOIP telephony support, High level AV support, VIP Support, Smart-Hands support and manning the a 'TechDeck'. (PC/Laptop builds, OS configuration, AD administration, some hardware repair) Windows 10. This position will require an engineer capable of building key relationships with end users, including VIP/Executives/Senior Management and their support staff. Call management. Some project work may be required.

AV knowledge and experience - desirable

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered
