Senior Data Scientist
Job Role
This is an initial 12 Month Contract working on-site in Edinburgh that allows for 50% remote working. You will be working for an organisation that is looking to revolutionise its industry. They are looking for someone to come on board to support the company with their data science tasks and develop research concepts. You will join a collaborative team looking to develop Image Recognition and Natural Language Processing algorithms and be required to communicate data insights and engage with wider stakeholders.
Required Experience
- Strong Python analysis and development skills with its data-stack.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical and data mining techniques and concepts, and experience with their application.
- Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world application
- Development of Natural Language Processing Algorithms/Information Retrieval/Text Mining
- Image Recognition Algorithms
- Comfortable with AWS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
- Master's or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative
