Lead AWS DevOps Engineer - Exeter - 6 Month Initial - £700-£800 per day
My client is currently looking for a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team in Exeter. We are looking for someone who has working experience leading teams of DevOps Engineer. This is still a hands-on position so we are looking for someone who can get their hands dirty.
Please note this role is INSIDE IR35
As the Lead DevOps Engineer you will be leading a team through the development and implementation of software services, tools and platform automation. The client is also looking for a DevOps Engineer to support with the above and become an integral part of the team.
Experience required
- Demonstrable experience of the AWS public cloud platform. Including practical knowledge of key services, automation through Infrastructure as Code and implementation of Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Proven ability of developing robust and serviceable enterprise level code across a good number of software projects.
- Excellent communication skills enabling team focus and interaction with all project stakeholders.
- Proven experience of leading DevOps Engineers
- Comfortable delivering incrementally and when faced with emerging requirements.
- Holds and associate or professional AWS Certification. Especially AWS Solution Architect or AWS Developer/DevOps Engineer.
