Job Description
Our client is an American multinational information technology company, with operations in over 170 countries and is one of the most prestige companies in the world. As a Javascript developer, you will be working within agile teams, which are comprised of multi-partner practitioners. The ideal candidate will have experience of developing JavaScript and HTML5/CSS3 architecture and have a proactive and inquisitive mind. You will have exposure to emerging development technologies with hands-on coding experience with JavaScript (AngularJS).
Front End Developer Requirements
- Experienced with HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (ideally AngularJS) and responsive design
- Excitement about emerging web technologies and how to progressively use them in projects.
- Experience working in a Devops environment eg Agile TDD CI Git
- Familiar with using a task runner eg Gulp/Grunt.
- Good understanding of Web Accessibility.
- Strong Java skills (ideally Java 1.8) Spring Boot Maven Git DevOps tooling. TDD CI agile experience preferred
Desirable (non-essential requirements)
- Knowledge of message queuing (ideally RabbitMQ) Elastic Search (or SOLR) Experience with architectural design/microservices
- React/Bootstrap/Experience using CSS naming conventions particularly BEM and ITCSS.
