Job Title - PHP Developer
Clearance required- Active SC required, will need to have Government Department SC used in the last 12 months that can be transferred
Location- Central London
Interview process: Initial internal Capgemini sift, followed by telephone call with previous developer to assess suitability

Job Spec-

From the spec the top 5 essential skills - leadership, PHP, web developer, Postgres, drupal
We are looking for an individual who is a PHP/Web Developer with good knowledge of Postgres to support a government department with their new internal Associates Database, which is due to go-live w/c 9th March.
Further user testing and training is required (user testing is desired before they formally move over to the new system)
Support in achieving complete accreditation (ITHC)
Service transition work
Facilitate show and tell

Repairs of the Associates Database in the following 3 areas:

1)Pay - specifically at the stage where the Line Manager approves the pay form. This does not feed into the system and instead is submitted to the administrator to process manually.
2)There is an error on the tracking of time remaining for associates on the register
3)There are some impending changes to the associate scheme and the department would like the opportunity to review some of the elements again so that they are fully confident with the new database.

The person:
Assertive
Experience in managing a team/project is desirable
Somebody that is happy to engage and integrate within the team but isn't afraid to take the lead to ensure go-live isn't delayed.
