Our client in Birmingham is looking for an SAP BW Consultant to work on an implementation project. 1 day onsite and 4 days remote!
Job Description:
Investigate the scope of BW objects that should be migrated to BW 4/HANA.
Task Description for SAP BW 4/HANA preparation project:
- Provide consultancy services on-site in Birmingham, UK to identify the scope of work for its future project conversion to BW 4/HANA
- Identify the number of each BW object per object-type, across development, quality assurance and production systems.
- Identify the actual objects for each object-type in each of the 3 clients
- Establish agreed rules to determine which objects should be deleted
- Establish the migration method (automatic or manual) for each object which is to be kept
- Provide advice on best practice for design of objects which cannot be migrated automatically
- Provide advice on written SAP BW programs which are not technically compliant with BW 4/HANA
