Description

You will interface on a daily basis to produce technical documentation for the Unified Communications project, which is required to deliver GFI for the continued development of support documentation (AESPs).

This includes:

  • Support Task Analysis (STA)
  • Work Instructions (WI)
  • Knowledge Articles (KA)
  • Build Guide
  • Supporting Documents:
    • Low Level Design (LLD)
    • Solution Recommendation Document (SRD)
    • Security Impact Statements (SIS)
    • Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan
    • Service Level Agreement (SLA)
    • Test Plans
    • Test Cases
    • Backup Plan

Skills/Experience:

  • DV clearance
  • Experience compiling technical documentation to a high-quality standard for use by an audience with specified level of technical competence & baseline training/experience
  • Experience producing Support Task Analysis (STA), Work Instructions (WI), Build Guide and Supporting Documents.
  • Technical/product knowledge of Microsoft Unified Communications
  • Technical/product knowledge of Oracle Unified Communications
  • Technical/product knowledge of Dell Server Hardware
  • Technical/product knowledge Server Virtualisation with VMware and Hyper V
  • Technical/product knowledge of CISCO Unified Communications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as Technical Author
  • Previous experience working within a Defence organisation
  • Previous experience providing Technical Authoring, Reviewing and Quality Assurance of GFI documentation.
