Technical Specialist - 12 Months - Livingston
I am looking for an experienced Technical Specialist for an initial 12 month contract based in Livingston.
To be considered for this role you will be educated to degree level in an IT discipline or equivalent experience, and must have specific commercial experience of:

- Avaya CM 7
- Avaya Aura Contact Centre
- Call Recording
- Equinox
- Alarm Receiving Technology
- ISDN30,
- Featurenet
- SIP, ISDN2 & PSTN
As Technical Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Analysing diverse supplier support and maintenance services and implementing the most cost effective solution for all platforms under their management. Migration of telephony from CS1k to CM.
- Analysing and interpreting complex data from various technologies (availability, performance and capacity) deployed by the organisation and use the information to deliver appropriate support and carry out root cause problem determination.
- Making technical decisions based on the IT technical strategy, the service portfolio for the network, server, desktop and mobile computing technologies, including operating systems and application software.
- Addressing technical demands from the IT Service Centre, competing projects and complex technical problems within the IT infrastructure platform and make decisions based on information available
- Undertaking problem solving to root cause.
The ideal candidate will have a PRINCE2 qualification, have technical accreditations in one or more areas of technical specialism and previous experience managing technical IT projects.
Regular travel across West Lothian is required so use of a car is required to be considered for the role.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 and offers a daily rate dependent on experience.
