The Role
The role holder will be required to develop and implement internal and external stakeholder engagement plans that deliver the Viking Link project Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Strategy for NGV. This will involve building strong relationships with, and work closely with, the Viking Link NGV team, Energinet, NGV Corporate Affairs, NGV Communications team, CR agency, key external stakeholders/parties and wider National Grid teams/groups.
You will be Responsible for;
Deliver the Viking Link Communications & Stakeholder Strategy supporting the projects construction phase:
- Develop and implement the internal communications plan
- Develop and implement the external communications plan
- Develop, implement and deliver the local community engagement plan
- Implement a corporate social responsibility programme in the local community
- Design and deliver quality, creative and engaging communications materials
- Create a library of visual materials that can be utilised by the Viking Link for various requirements
- Continuously maintain, update and refresh the Viking Link external website
- Continuously maintain the internal communications sharepoint site
- Manage, monitor and update all social media channels with project communications as appropriate
- Build a strong relationship with and manage the CR agency team
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the NGV Corporate Affairs Team, NGV Communications Team, Viking Link Team, Energinet Communications Lead, external stakeholders, external agencies, external suppliers/providers and wider NG teams
- Support the Viking Link team with all the communication and stakeholder engagement requirements
About You;
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a communications and stakeholder management role
- Strong personable, communications and networking skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong competence in relationship management to overcome all barriers
- Strong planning, organisational and delivery/execution skills
- High level of initiative
