Description

Resource 1 is seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL and documentation skills for a long-term contract position in Elkridge, MD. Individual should have strong knowledge of and experience with SQL related concepts, like SQL QUERIES, SUBQUERIES, SQL SYNTAX, PRIMARY KEY, FOREIGN KEY, SELECT statements, TABLES, VIEWS, JOINS (inner/outer/right/left), etc. Individual will work with the database team and create/enhance database design documents, description fields, naming conventions, etc. Individual should have a solid understanding of relational databases and data structures. Prior experience working with medical codes is a plus for this position, but the client will provide training in this area. In the initial phase of the project, individual will leverage their SQL Server and Excel skills, while documenting the changes in the Healthcare ICD-10/ICD-9 codes. Individual will ensure compliance to the organization's documentation templates and defined database standards for structure and naming conventions. Selected individual must have proven documentation skills and strong attention to detail. Individual should be strong in MS Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, formatting, etc. Familiarity with HL7 standards for EHR (Electronic Health Records) would be helpful for this position, but not required. Ideally, individual would also have some experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment. Individual could also be asked to help gather requirements and create related documentation (ie User Stories, BRD, FRD, FSD, Process Flows, etc.).
