Description

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior React Developer within their Digital Innovation Hub to join a multicultural team with a blend of startup and enterprise experience, they take products through the incubation and growth stage.

What you'll do:
- You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to maintain and deliver both new and existing features.
- You will review other developer's code
- You will help highlight areas of technical debt and opportunities for improvement in both technology and process.
- You will take part in sprint ceremonies including demos where you will present your work

Who you are:

- You are an experienced senior Front End engineer with a track record of building delightful products for external customers in an Agile environment from inception to completion.
- You aim for excellence but are pragmatic.
- You fully understand the importance of maintaining a high level of quality and reliability on an application being used by customers daily to make decisions that impact their business.
- You have experience with React and CSS.
- You are familiar with NodeJS and familiar with GraphQL.
- You have vast experience developing single-page applications in a test-driven manner.
- You write maintainable code while introducing sensible abstractions.
- You take pride in ensuring that any solution you deliver is performant and accessible. Your work holds the needs of the user at its core.
- You enjoy working and learning as part of a cross-functional team.
- You are accustomed to working directly with Back End developers, designers, and product managers.
- You're used to sharing your opinion on both technical and non-technical matters to shape the direction of a product.
- You're able to work autonomously while liaising with other members of the team to deliver fully functional features.
- You can work from lo-fidelity wireframes and functional specifications.
- You're able to prioritise your own work to deliver functionality with the highest value first.
- You plan your work to deliver it in meaningful and manageable pull requests.
- You're accustomed to reviewing other developer's code and are open to constructive feedback on your own.
- You're comfortable pair programming.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
