Job Description:

  • Participate in the development of Technology Value Proposition.
  • Lead SMEs contributing to the offering solution on a day-to-day basis to manage assignments,schedule and deliverables.
  • Participate in resourcing and evaluation of offering resources.
  • Provide performance feedback for offering team members to their leaders.
  • Prepare for and facilitate solution governance and approval reviews.
  • Validate and approve all deliverables for the offering.
  • Interface with the Solution Lead, Proposal Manager and Bid Manager.
  • Assume client-facing role as needed in participating in Yellow Pad presentations and othercustomer briefings.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the Offering Subject Matter Experts.
  • Deliver solution, cost/pricing models and proposal content efficiently, effectively and timely.
  • Provide market price information for the technical solution.
  • Ensure solution is complete, sound and costed accurately.

Obtain acceptance and approval from Solution Lead/Delivery Lead.

  • Ensure a Technology Competitive Advantage.
  • Respond to and supports the Bid Manager in executing the bid process.
  • Knowledgeable of the technical aspects of the offering (ie, network, hosting, desktop, security etc.).
  • Experienced in designing and delivering solutions for real clients.
  • Clearly articulate solutions for the offering and explains why the solution is what it is and why that approach is of value to the client (understand the pros and cons of the solution). Can explain how the solution meets the client's goals and objectives.
  • Can listen and adapt to client Technology and discussions "Real Time". Exhibit a confidence in the solution, but also exhibit flexibility and willingness to listen and adapt.
  • While possessing good technical knowledge, must have a developed business acumen.
  • Understand and can readily articulate how the offering or solution integrates with the larger holistic solution for the client.
  • Understand and can articulate all aspects of transition/transformation/migration from the current situation to the proposed end state. This includes major milestones, timelines and manpower (both supplier and client).
  • Understand and can articulate the solution from a people resource perspective -- offering solution maps seamlessly to the HR people plan.
  • Understand and can articulate all aspects of Financial and Operational Responsibility Matrix for their offering.
  • Understand and can articulate their part of the ongoing delivery and governance.
  • Ensure Technology' delivery plan meets client and Technology's expectations.
  • Ensure solution components align with standards and best practices.
  • Ensure cost and pricing models align with standards and best practices.
  • Deliver high-quality and complete proposal documents.
  • Keep to the schedule.
  • Identify resource issues and escalates to the Solution Lead.
  • Minimize issues and inconsistencies.

Key deliverables/accountabilities:

Manages all deliverables pertaining to the relevant offering including:

  • Solution quality (Bill of materials, Bill of labor, Transition and Transformation approach)
  • Solution delivery feasibility
  • Risk mitigation and assumption management
  • Financials
  • Alignment of Client requirements to Technology services

Technical skills:

Strategic IT outsourcing marketplace knowledge (industry, competitors, Technology positioning)

Summary understanding of the standard service offering elements and their interaction
