SQL Database Engineer/SQL Server Database Engineer/MS SQL Databse Engineer
My client is one of the largest banks in the Netherlands, looking for a SQL Database Engineer/SQL Server Database Engineer/MS SQL Databse Engineer on a long-term contract! You will be focussing heavily on the infrastructure side, with experience with the Database itself rather than the data.
In this role you will be "automating as much as possible", building and setting up CI/CD pipelines from scratch. In team together with other engineers you will be working on an ambitious project and contribute to the final outcome with your skills and experience.
That's why seniority level is quite high. Precisely, what is required is:
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and as Database Engineer
- Experience with building new environments, CI/CD pipelines ( Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Octopus Deploy)
- Experience with PowerShell at an ADVANCED level
- Passion for and experience with automation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum way of working
- Working experience at an enterprise level (100+ Servers)
Nice to have: SSIS/AlwaysOn
