Contract Role: Contractor
Location: Southampton
Contract Duration: 6 months +
The client is looking for a commercially experienced Engineer to join a established project team. The engineer is expected to have a wide variety of skills in technologies such as Python, C#, REST, cloud services (Azure/AWS) and SQL and Deployment, Debugging, Testing (TDD, BDD), Scaling and Monitoring scalable web applications.
Essential Skills:
*Proven skills in software configuration, engineering of Python/C# based solutions
*Experience in working with RESTful APIs
*Good understanding of SQL database design and optimisation
*Knowledge of modern engineering best practice and a keen interest in the latest technologies, patterns and trends
*Proven track record in iterative and incremental development
*Very good track record in problem resolution & selection of technical solutions & applications
*Qualified to relevant development certification (or equivalent)
