Fruition IT are recruiting a Software Engineer with a background in Java for brand new role working within a team that prides itself on pushing new technology to its limits. In this role you will be delivering resilient, scalable, high performing systems.
Our client are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Software Engineer to work on next generation in-house platforms, primarily written in Kotlin and leaning heavily on message-oriented microservices design patterns. You will be willing to contribute design ideas at all levels and also be a mentor to the more junior members of the team, keen to share your experience.
You will be reporting to the Lead Software Engineer and will:
- Actively participate in application design, database design, data-flows and detailed technical design. Ensure that analysis includes the wider view of technical and business impact
- Technical design, proposing sound phased or tactical implementations where appropriate
- Share your experience by mentoring more junior squad members
- Actively support the implementation of continuous integration to enhance deployment processes in line with delivery/release evolution plans
