Role description Technical Expert – Network SME
Tasks & Responsibility
For BU EA a central technical team will support and advise the project team in regards of network topics
Tasks included but not limited to:
? Consultancy on technical topics
? Communicate & share knowledge with the Project Team
? Analyse technical issues & troubleshooting
? Gathering and provisioning of technical data (e.g. LAN & WAN Information)
? Participate in migrations
? Onsite support of migrations of complex sites
? Supporting local delivery team / local onsite support
? Documentation of infrastructure e.g. creation of Visio drawings, COM-matrixes and any other visualization of network topics
? Pre configuration of appliances
Interaction / Alignment
? Project Manager BU EA
? Regional Lead OU
? Delivery Team / Key User
? Service Provider
Knowledge / Skills:
? Routing and switching technologies
? Networking
? Analysing (Knowledge in troubleshooting tools e.g. network sniffer, protocol analyser (Netflow)
? Firewalls (Rulesets, Zoning, Cloud FWs, COM-Matrix and Next Gen Firewalling)
? Networking (Senior: at least CCNA & CCDA certification or equivalent)
? Working experience at an ISP is a plus
? Fluent in English & French
