Description
Looking for experienced Java Engineers on a contract basis for a project working on various Financial applications.
You will be a part of large Agile Development teams providing greenfield or brownfield projects. You will be exposed to a variety of technical tools such as Linux/Unix, Scala, Perl, Bash, AWS and sometimes Front End tools like Angular or ReactJS.
These are contract positions that will be inside IR35 from April 2020 offering a daily rate of up to £375.
To qualify for these roles, you will have to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- Expert knowledge building complex applications using Java (we use Java 8/9)
- Strong understanding and experience with every part of the software development life cycle including testing, deployment, design and architecture
- Expert knowledge with SQL, Oracle and other Relational databases like DB2
- Sound knowledge of Integration tools- XML, SOAP, JSON, Spring
- Experience working on Build tools: Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, GIT
- Ideally, you have been working on financial applications previously
