Our direct client in the Raleigh-Durham area has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join their PMO. You'll provide day-to-day leadership, coordination, and resource management of a variety of internal and external IT projects to help ensure the successful management and implementation of project business cases, risks, timelines, financials and quality. - Bachelor's level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field plus 6 years of related work experience, or; equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Knowledge of and experience with current technologies and project management techniques
- Demonstrated experience in working with vendors in co-managing projects desired.
- Experience with implementation of infrastructure initiatives, application development or enterprise system
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate
- Ability to prioritize competing projects and deliver with confidence in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent discipline, time management, and multi-tasking ability.
- Forward-thinking, creative mindset.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (ie, MS Project, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
Plusses:
- Familiarity/Experience with Waterfall and SAFe Agile preferred
